14th Annual NAYA Gala & Auction 

Northwest’s largest celebration of Native American Heritage Month, the NAYA Gala & Auction is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Native American cuisine, traditional dance performances, Native songs and drumming, and beautiful Indigenous art up for bid in our live and silent auction. The Gala is also a great place to meet with Native American community leaders and our allies from across the region. Representatives from tribes, foundations, businesses and non-profits come together to celebrate our community’s growth and continued success.

Date: Friday, November 17th, 2017

Time: Registration opens at 5:30 PM with event programming starting at 7:00 PM. Come early to get some bids in at our silent auction and mingle with other great folks.

Venue: Portland Art Museum (1219 SW Park Ave, Portland, Oregon 97205)

  • We will start the meal with a Composed Acorn Squash Salas: Ancient Heritage Hannah Cheese, Chopped Pecans, Charred Lemon Honey Vinaigrette, Pepitas, Local Greens, Herbs, Granny Smith Apples
  • Next you will have your choice of the Braised Rabbit Leg with NW Wild Mushroom Hunters Sauce, Yellow Corn Polenta, Fresh Cheese or the Three Sisters Cassoulet (Vegetarian Entrée) with Heirloom Beans, Wild Mushrooms, Winter Squash, Yellow Corn Cake, Winter Root Vegetables and Fine Herbs
  • Finally ending the night with your choice of Blackberry Cobbler with Chantilly Cream or Northwest Apple Crisp with Hazelnut Crumble

Parking: Downtown Portland parking can be tricky. We would encourage Public Transportation if possible. If not your options would be street parking (pay until 7:00 PM) or a near by parking garage.

Dress/Attire: This is formal event, however we encourage all guest to come in “Native Bling”. This is the event to show off your great Native American Jewelry and celebrate our great artist. See photos from previous years.
